This Privacy Policy describes how ROYAK R & D LTD, UIC 202037387 (hereinafter "ROYAK", "we" or "the Controller"), collects, uses and protects your personal data in connection with the services we provide — "Aviation bootcamp" training courses for persons aged 13 to 19. We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Bulgarian law.
1. What personal information do we collect?
The personal information we request and store through online enrolment forms, upon registration in our learning platform, or through written contracts, may include:
- email address;
- the full name and age of the student;
- the name of a parent/guardian when the student is under 18;
- telephone number;
- payment data, processed through our payment services provider (see section 4);
- attendance and performance data of the student within the learning platform (LMS);
- any other data necessary to communicate with you and to deliver the service.
2. How do we collect information?
Data is collected in various ways:
- when you use our contact or enrolment forms, during phone calls, through email correspondence, and upon entering into a service contract;
- upon registration in and use of our learning platform (Moodle LMS);
- video and photo recording may take place in the training premises solely to ensure the security of the sessions and to resolve disputes, and — only with explicit consent — to promote our activities;
- ROYAK may also collect data indirectly through cookies and markers/trackers on the royak.eu website.
3. Why do we collect information about our clients?
The data we collect is provided voluntarily by you when:
- contacting us (for example, by completing a contact form or sending an email to ROYAK);
- registering for a course;
- attending a course, bootcamp or event organised by ROYAK;
- or through any other form of communication with you.
Without this information it is impossible for us to fulfil our obligations to you, to process your contact request, or to deliver the requested service.
We use the personal information you provide in order to perform the contract with you and to deliver the service you have requested, in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. Where we process data for the purpose of promoting our activities (photos/video), this is done solely on the basis of your explicit consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.
Upon performance of the contract or deletion of your user profile, the processing of your personal data is restricted, and the information is erased after the expiry of the retention period under applicable law, unless you have consented to your data being used further, or we are entitled to use it under the relevant law.
4. Who processes my personal data?
ROYAK R & D LTD, UIC 202037387, is a legal entity registered in the Commercial Register of the Republic of Bulgaria, with registered seat and address of management: Sofia (postal code 1000), Lozenets district, 11 Lipa Str., floor 3, apt. 18.
Your data is processed by ROYAK employees responsible for:
- managing our website;
- delivering our services.
Your user data may be deleted after you notify us using the contact details below or use the relevant option in your account.
Where necessary for our operations and for additional external processing, your data may be provided to subcontractors, service providers and other third parties, such as:
- hosting companies (IP addresses and data on visited pages);
- payment services providers;
- providers of online services necessary to deliver the requested service;
- providers of online learning platforms.
These parties are obliged, under our contractual relations, to preserve the confidentiality of the data provided and to use it solely for the purposes for which they received it.
Your data may also be provided where necessary to comply with regulatory requirements, laws and legal proceedings, including responding to requests from state and law-enforcement authorities.
When communicating with us and when delivering the services, your data may also be stored in the systems of:
- Google Workspace (Google Ireland Ltd.) — provider of email and file-management services (Privacy Policy);
- Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.) — payment processing services provider (Privacy Policy);
- Postmark (Wildbit / ActiveCampaign) — provider of transactional email services (Privacy Policy);
- Moodle — online learning platform (LMS) (Privacy Notice);
- or any other service provider used in communicating and delivering services to you.
5. For how long will you store my personal information?
ROYAK stores your personal data only for the period necessary for the purposes described in section 3 above. The period may vary depending on the information required, as its duration depends on the nature and purposes of the storage. There are also legal provisions that set specific retention periods.
When you contact ROYAK through our contact forms, your data is stored for a period of 5 (five) years from the date of your last communication with us, after which it is erased.
Upon entering into a contract and/or creating a user profile in order to receive a service, your data is stored until the expiry of the minimum required limitation period under applicable law.
6. How do you protect my data?
Access to your data is granted only to authorised persons who have a specific need for such access. The security of the servers storing the data is managed by the respective service providers. ROYAK carries out regular internal security checks. We make every effort to protect your data, but we cannot guarantee the absolute security of information sent to our website. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password to your user profile and must not disclose it to third parties.
7. What rights do I have as your client?
You may browse our website without providing us with personal data, by using the relevant settings of your browser. In that case you will not be able to use certain online services, such as: creating a user profile; purchasing services; receiving information about new courses and promotions.
You have the right to access and to rectify your personal data in accordance with the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679). Under the GDPR you also have the right:
- to request the erasure of your data;
- to restrict the processing of your data;
- to object to the processing of your data in accordance with Article 21 of the GDPR;
- to data portability of the personal information you have provided;
- to withdraw your consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
In accordance with Article 12(6) of the GDPR, when exercising these rights, ROYAK, in its capacity as controller, reserves the right to require evidence confirming your identity. The data required to confirm your identity is erased once your request has been fulfilled.

By withdrawing your consent to the processing of personal data, you restrict ROYAK's ability to provide services under the contract concluded. In such a case, due to the impossibility of performance, you waive any claims for compensation based on the contract concluded.
8. Cookie Policy
royak.eu uses technologies to collect information, including so-called "cookies" — small files that the web server sends to your browser and that allow the server to collect feedback from the browser. By using the royak.eu website, the User agrees to this Cookie Policy. We are entitled to use cookies in order to provide a better experience and to offer the most appropriate service. We are entitled to prepare anonymous statistics that help us understand how the User prefers to use our pages, so that we can improve their structure and content, without identifying the User.
